Updated: Feb 6

Andrew Quesnel

When talking about building reliable businesses, one of the most essential elements to consider is the people you're building with. This is because, without a good team, your vision may end up as just one of the numerous ideas on the shelf.

Where HR innovation is concerned, Andrew Quesnel is one of the leading players in personnel management, human resources, and business development. With over a decade of experience, Quesnel is a certified business performance advisor at Insperity Inc., a renowned publicly traded company that offers human resources (HR) and business performance solutions.

In this edition of EO Boston’s Strategic Alliance Partner Spotlight, Quesnel shared with us exciting details of his work at Insperity, his plans for tomorrow, the role of EO Boston in his journey, and so much more. Read on!

1. Tell Us About Your Business

Insperity’s mission is to help businesses succeed so communities prosper. Offering the most comprehensive suite of scalable HR solutions available in the marketplace, Insperity is defined by an unrivaled breadth and depth of services and level of care. 2. How Long Have You Been an SAP With EO Boston?

This is our second time as an SAP with EO. This round has been about two months.

3. What Have Been Your Greatest Challenges in Business?

One of our greatest challenges is finding business leaders and owners with a true growth mindset. This refers to those who believe their employees are an asset and want to invest in that asset. They don’t believe in following the status quo.

4. How Do You Network With Other Businesses?

I am part of USA 500, a local networking organization; I am also networking with my current client, Centers of Influences, while breaking into new businesses through marketing and outreach.

5. Who Have Been Your Strongest Mentors?

I came to Insperity through a friend and colleague you may know: Tony Silvestro. Tony has been a fellow CBPA, my direct manager, and now a regional manager for New England. He has been a huge part of my success here at Insperity. We have had a lot of laughs, wins, and some losses, but through it all, Tony has always been a driver for me to be a better person, friend, and business advisor.

6. Why Partner With EO Boston? What Have You Learned Since Becoming an SAP With EO Boston?

EO members have a drive to make their businesses better through learning and seeing what others are doing to be successful. People with this drive and constant need to get better see Insperity as a great asset to their business and are also the types of individuals we work best with.

I have learned a number of things since becoming an SAP, but the biggest takeaway is the camaraderie everyone shares and the friendships that have formed within the group. It’s amazing to see the relationships that EO has created and how that affects the lives of the people involved.

7. What’s on the Horizon for You?

On the horizon is finishing this year (2023) strong and gearing up for the next (2024). I have many business goals this year, but it will also be my 11th year at Insperity and 10th year of marriage! My wife, Leslie, and I are headed to Bermuda to celebrate in June.

8. What’s the Best Piece of Advice You Can Give to Up-and-Coming Businesses?

The best advice I can give a business is to take care of your people! If you invest in your people and help them be successful, they will be more invested and engaged in your company; this will drive growth and profits!
